Aluminum Acid Pearl Color Sand Making Agent AP-ALE5 is an acid sand making agent that produces a pearl white effect on aluminum and aluminum alloys.

 

  • The pearly colored sand surface is average.
  • It can remove mechanical traces on general aluminum parts.
  • Operating under different processing conditions will produce different effects.
  • The same sanding cylinder can also be used for workpieces of different types of materials.
  • The sand remover has a long life. Under normal circumstances, there is no need to replace the entire cylinder of sand remover. The effect is more ideal. 1/2 to 1/3 of the sand remover can be replaced within a period of time.
  • Aluminum or aluminum alloy cosmetics containers and lighter cases are most suitable for handling with this sand-making agent.

precautions

  • The roughening plating solution contains fluoride, please use plastic utensils.
  • When extracting roughening plating solution for testing, only the surface layer or filtered plating solution can be extracted, because the turbid liquid on the bottom layer will affect the analysis results.
  • It is difficult to judge the endpoint during analysis. Please add a large number of drops of methyl red.
  • After analysis and addition or when there is instability in the roughening plating solution, you can replace 1/2 to 1/5 of the plating solution. Please remove sediment at the bottom of the cylinder when replacing.

 

  • Deposits will form during operation, so please keep the sand blasting solution clear.
  • Using air to stir will produce a more detailed pearly colored sand surface effect.
  • Repeated treatment can have a more detailed pearl sand surface effect.
  • When treated at high or low temperatures, a smooth and shiny surface layer can also be produced.
  • When using chemical polishing or electrolytic polishing, the following methods are recommended to improve the effect.
